Jacquline Ewald

Jacquline "Jill" M. Ewald, 75, of Sheboygan Falls, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Pine Haven Residential Center. Jill was born on August 9, 1937, in Goodman, WI, daughter of Ralph and Leona (Fewless) Kelsey. She was a 1955 graduate of Menominee High School in Menominee, MI. On September 8, 1956, she married Lloyd J. Ewald in Menominee. Lloyd passed away on July 15, 1994. Jill was employed as a cook for Sheboygan Falls Middle School and High School for 20 years until her retirement in 1999. Jill was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Sheboygan Falls where she was active as a Sunday school teacher and past financial secretary for the finance committee and involved with the church youth groups and area cub scouts. She enjoyed Bible studies, knitting, and crocheting. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Jill was involved in sponsoring two children from Haiti. She was devoted to her faith through daily prayer. Jill is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Hed of Sheboygan Falls and Penny (John) Willems of Kiel; her two sons, John Ewald of Sheboygan and Keith (Suzanne) Ewald of Sheboygan Falls and; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Linda (Gary) Schick of Daggett, MI; three brothers, Jack (Donna) Kelsey of Neosho, WI, Robert Kelsey of Menominee, and David Kelsey of Menominee. Jill is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Jill was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 38 years, Lloyd; one son, Scott Ewald; two sisters, Marian Polach and Joan Martin; and one brother, Bill Kelsey. Funeral services to celebrate Jill's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Faith United Methodist Church in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Donald Drollinger officiating. Burial will take place in Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. A memorial fund has been established in Jill's name for Faith United Methodist Church.
