Ivalyn Linda (Kuehn) Stephan, 98, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls. Ivalyn was born on August 13, 1917, on a farm near Greenwood (Clark Co.) Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Hubert and Lena (Seibold) Kuehn. Ivalyn graduated from Greenwood High School on May 22, 1935, and went to Chicago, Illinois, where she worked in a fish factory. On July 12, 1941, she married John Stephan at the West Side Emmanuel Reformed Church in Greenwood. John preceded her in death on May 2, 2004. During her lifetime, she was a housewife, worked at the Waldo Canning Factory, fleshed mink in Plymouth, and graded and packed apples at Waldo Orchards until her retirement. Ivalyn was a member of Salem Plankroad United Church of Christ, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid. She was a member of the Service Star (serving as its historian), Kings Daughters of America, Dye Road Homemakers, and Community Service Circle of Waldo. Ivalyn enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, her many trips to Canada to fish, and enjoyed going to the Providence of Saskatchewan, Canada to visit with her many relatives. She also enjoyed camping, playing cards, raising flowers, and cooking. Ivalyn is survived by her four children, Patricia (Carl) Radandt of New Holstein, Jean (Jack) Kohls of Waldo, Joanne Bird of Brillion, and Dennis (Sandra) Stephan of Fort Worth, Texas; eleven grandchildren, Kristina Radandt of New Holstein, Steven Radandt of New Holstein, Jeffrey (Karen) Radandt of New Holstein, Lisa (Thomas) Schultz of Green Bay, Carla (Daniel) Biese of rural Chilton, Eric (Stephanie) Radandt of Marytown, William (Debra) Berth of rural Adell, Debra (William) Berth-Mallek of Chicago, David Berth of Sheboygan, Tony Happel of Florida, and Wendy Happel of Brillion; 18 great-grandchildren, Colton, Kyle, Cody, Caiden, Connor, and Jake Radandt, Toby Radandt, Madeline, Joshua, and Micah Schultz, Cheyenne and Austin Belflower, Ethan Biese, Amanda (Joshua) Hedrick, Kimberly (Derek) Wilterdink, Elei Berth-Mallek, William Happel, and Garrett Happel; two step-great-grandchildren, Glenn Mallek and Cassandra (Christopher) Schueller; one great-great-grandchild, Jase Hedrick; and two step-great-great-grandchildren, Izabel and Zoey Schueller. Ivalyn was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John; a granddaughter, Kim Berth; two sons-in-law, Karl Berth and Larry Bird; and four brothers, Norbert, Harold, Floyd, and Evan Kuehn. Funeral services to celebrate Ivalyn's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at Salem Plankroad UCC, N5691 County Rd. M, with Rev. Cheryl Lepak officiating. Burial will take place at Salem Plankroad UCC Cemetery in the Town of Sheboygan Falls. Family and friends will gather at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. A memorial fund has been established in Ivalyn's name for Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Ivalyn's family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of the Sharon S.
