Howard Olmsted

Howard R. Olmsted, 73, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013, at his home. Howard was born on July 9, 1939, in Munising, Michigan, to Earl and Berdina (Hawkins) Olmsted. He was a 1958 graduate of Mather High School in Munising. He served in the US Army from 1958 - 1963. On December 12, 1960 he married Josette "Jean" Snaidero in France. Howard was employed with Thomas Industries for 19 years and Mercury Marine for 17 years until his retirement in 2002. Howard enjoyed fishing and bow hunting, and lived life day by day. Howard is survived by three daughters, Kim Waech of Hilbert, Gina (Mike) Brown of Brookfield, and Angela Dorzak of Kewaskum; three sons, Eric (Patty) Olmsted of Rio, WI, Patrick Olmsted of Tampa, FL, and Phillip (Gabrielle) Olmsted of Sheboygan Falls; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; mother of his children, Jean Snaidero of Cascade; and one sister, Audrey Doloski of Munising. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, three sisters, and four brothers. At Howard's request, no funeral services will be held.
