Holly Rees-Thomas

Holly Ann Majerus Rees-Thomas, 56, of Burbank, CA died on Monday, May 6, 2013 following a brief illness. Holly was born on November 5, 1956 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Jerold and Lois (Kilton) Majerus. She attended Edgewood High School and the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She met her beloved husband, Anthony in Madison in September 1980 and never looked back. Upon moving to Burbank from Houston, TX in 1998, she spent several years rehabbing houses, but for the past 12 years worked as a Royalties Analyst for Universal Music Group, and enjoying the endless beautiful California weather. Holly is survived by her husband, Anthony Rees-Thomas of Burbank, CA, after spending the past thirty years as each other's biggest fans; her daughter, Ana Nicole Rees-Thomas, who was the light of her life and the legacy of her grace and compassion; and her father, Jerry Majerus of Madison. Holly was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Kilton Majerus; brother, David Majerus; and sister, LynnDee Majerus Caputo. A memorial service was held at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Burbank on May 15, 2013. The presiding ministers were Rev. Paul Clairville and Pastor Eric Lyndsey. Mr. Jerry Skinner provided the eulogy. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10 am with the Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls. Family and friends will gather at Blessed Trinity Parish on Saturday from 9 am until the time of Mass at 10 am. A memorial fund is being established in her memory for St. Mary Cemetery Association.
