Herman George Beyer Herman G. Beyer, 93, of 540 Mark Avenue, Sheboygan Falls died on Saturday morning, November 1, 2008 at Pine Haven Residential Home where he had resided since 2007. Herman was born on October 3, 1915 in Greenwood, WI, the son of the late Herman and Sarah (Meihack) Beyer. Herman graduated from Greenwood High School. He married the late Violet Lambrecht on June 7, 1952 at the Town of Maine Lutheran Church in Marathon County. She preceded him in death on May 5, 2001. They owned and operated the Athens Home Bakery from 1953 until 1980. The couple enjoyed 10 years of their retirement in Athens before moving to Sheboygan Falls in the March of 1990. Herman was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. Herman was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and traveling. He and his wife enjoyed spending time at their cottage in Phillips. He is survived by a daughter, Aileen Beyer of Sheboygan Falls; a son, Mark (Patricia) Beyer of Sheboygan; five grandchildren, Lindy Beyer, Ryan Beyer, Chrysta Beyer, Amanda Ziemer and Angela Ziemer; one sister, Geneva (Joseph) Calmes; one sister-in-law, Beverly Lambrecht of Janesville; and two brothers-in-law, Phillip (Ginny) Lambrecht of Wausau and Harvey (Karen) Lambrecht of Merrill; nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Herman was preceded in death by his wife; as son, Keith Beyer; and a sister, Myrtle (James) Davis. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 4, 2008, with the Rev. Tom Gudmundson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in the Town of Wilson. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Monday from 5-7 pm, and on at church on Tuesday, from 9:45 am until the time of the service.
