Henry Franzen

Henry J. Franzen Sr., 81, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at his home.Henry was born on August 26, 1935, in Port Washington, son of Edward and Leona (Voss) Franzen.  He served in the US Marines from 1956-1958.  On April 27, 1957, he married Pauline Paulus at Holy Cross in Belgium.  Henry was employed with Kohler Company for 43 years until his retirement in 1997, as well as a lifetime farmer.Henry was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls.Henry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pauline; two daughters, Belinda (John) Meeks of Plymouth and Penny (John) Simon of Kohler; his two sons, Henry Jr (Laurie) Franzen of Sheboygan Falls and Bruce (Connie) Franzen of Channahon, IL; eleven grandchildren,  Enjoyli Meeks, Nicole (Aaron) Barlass, Joseph Franzen, Tanya (Matt) Arentsen, Crystal Simon, Brianna Franzen, Paige Franzen, Morgan Franzen, Ryan Franzen, Collin Powers and Jacob Powers; five great grandchildren, Andres, Lily May, Brody, Josiah and Seth; four sisters, Pricilla (Bob) Friedmann, Darlene (Ronald) Aupperle, Judy (Daniel) Survis, and Roxane (Joe) Sterr; three brothers, Donald (Anita) Franzen, Edward Franzen, and Douglas (Dawn) Franzen.Henry was preceded in death by his parents, his infant daughter, Linda C., three sisters, Audrey, Bernadine, and Marcella; his parents-in-law, Peter and Clara Paulus; and one brother-in-law, Alois PaulusInurnment and Military Honors will take place on Saturday, June 17th at 10 am Greenlawn Memorial Park.A memorial fund is being established in Henry's name.For online condolences and additional information please visit www.wenigfh.com The staff of the Wenig Funeral Home of Sheboygan Falls (920-467-3431) is assisting Henry's family with arrangements.
