Henrietta Hendrikse

Henrietta W. Hendrikse Henrietta W. Hendrikse, 94, of 610 Mark Ave., Sheboygan Falls, died Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Pine Haven Residential where she had resided. She was born April 19, 1914 in the Town of Holland, the daughter of the late Harry and Marion (Wordes) Draayers. Henrietta was a 1932 graduate of Oostburg High School. On August 3, 1934 she married the late Fred Rogers in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1975. She married the late Edward Hendrikse on June 25, 1983. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2002. Henrietta was a teacher's aide for Oostburg School District for about 15 years before her retirement. She was a member of Oostburg First Presbyterian Church. Henrietta enjoyed sewing, reading, ceramics and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter, Marion (Lowell) Bruggink of Sheboygan Falls; four grandchildren, Julia (Brian) Messner, Joan (Ron) Mueller, Jay (Missy) Bruggink, Jamie (Michelle) Bruggink; nine great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Marcia Draayers of Cedar Grove; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn (Alma) Draayers and Leslie Draayers. Funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Oostburg on Saturday, December 6, 2006 at 2 pm with the Rev. Walter Hackney officiating. Burial will follow at Oostburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Saturday from Noon until 2 pm. A memorial fund will be established in her name for Oostburg First Presbyterian Church.
