Hazel Holland

Hazel A. Holland, 101, of Sheboygan Falls died on Friday evening, November 6, 2009 at Pine Haven Christian Home. Hazel was born on October 1, 1908 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of the late Frank and Emma (Garb) Darnbrook. On December 12, 1931, she married the late Robert Holland in Rogersville. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1967. Hazel worked for the H. C. Prange Co., Hallmark Stores, and Wigwam Mills. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, word puzzles, and playing cards. She was an active volunteer and strong supporter of her church. She was a very active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls and the Women's Society. Hazel is survived by a dear friend, Ann Behlow of Sheboygan Falls, nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and four brothers, Ervin, Norman, Walter and Leonard Darnbrook. Funeral services will be held at the St Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 11 am with the Rev. Mark Janzen officiating. Burial will follow at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the St Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls on Monday from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am.
