Harold Buehler, 92, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Aurora Baycare Medical Center in Green Bay.
Harold was born on June 16, 1929, to Elmer and Johanna (Hopeman) Buehler. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1947. Harold was united in marriage to Lois Yurk on September 22, 1956, in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Harold’s love was farming, and he was blessed to do this for many years. He finished his career at C.F. Heckman Co. until his retirement.
Harold was a member of First Reformed Church, where he served as elder and deacon. He enjoyed reading, gardening, trout fishing, and his walks in the outdoors. Harold loved spending time at the family cottage in Pembine and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed being able to go on the Honor Flight in October of 2019 with his brother, Howard.
Harold is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lois; daughter, Ann (Paul) Graumann of Sheboygan Falls; sons, Michael (Brenda) Buehler of Sheboygan and Thomas (Sherry) Buehler of Oostburg; 7 grandchildren, Matthew (Nicole) Buehler, Hope (Kerry) Doyle, Brooke (special friend Corey Blizzard) Buehler, Stephanie (Sergio) Ochoa, Marcus (Jess) Buehler, Elizabeth (Michael) Marusich, and Katherine (Matt) Olig; 9 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother, Howard (Bernice) Buehler of Sheboygan Falls; sisters-in-law, Jean Huyler, Fredda Yurk; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Harold is preceded in death by his son, Mark Buehler; parents, Elmer and Johanna Buehler; parents-in-law, David and Hildegarde Yurk; brothers, Derwin (Ruth) Buehler, Gordon (Betty) Buehler; and brothers-in-law, William Yurk, Jack Huyler.
A celebration of Harold’s life will be held at First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 11:00 am. If unable to attend, all are welcome to join via livestream by visiting wenig.live/HaroldBuehler . Burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery with full military honors.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at church from 9:00 am until the time of service.
Memorial donations can be made in Harold's name to First Reformed Church.
