Harley Hahn

Harley H. Hahn, 75, of 494 White Birch, Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility. He was born May 28, 1932 in Sheboygan, the son of the late Harold C. and Lucille (Stapel) Hahn. Harley was a 1951 graduate of Sheboygan Central High School. He proudly served in the US Army in Alaska from 1953-55. On June 13, 1953, Harley married Beverly Burgard in Augusta, Georgia. He worked at Gilson Bros. in Plymouth, Vinyl Plastics in Sheboygan and at Midwest Lumber in Waukesha for nine years as a supervisor, before retiring in 1997. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls and the American Legion Post #149. Survivors include his wife, Beverly; three sons, Donald (Peggy) Hahn of Plymouth, Charles Hahn of Madison, Howard (Debbie) Hahn of New Glarus; three daughters, Lucy Hahn of Madison, Susan Perry of Sheboygan, Carol Bieberitz of Sheboygan; grandchildren, Heather (Adam) Mommaerts, Ryan (Angie) Hahn, Daniel Perry, Rachel (Juan) Gonzaléz, Heidi (Jamie) Brill, Sara and Katie Collins; four great grandchildren; five sisters-in-law, Donna Modiz, Betty E. Hahn, Bernice TenPas, Betty J. Hahn, and Joyce Burgard. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, two brothers, five brothers-in-law, and one son-in-law. A private family service will be held at Chapel of Eternal Light, Greenlawn Memorial Park. A memorial fund will be established in his name for St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls.
