Glenn Koeser

Glenn E. Koeser, 66, of Oostburg passed away unexpectedly with his family at his side on Sunday morning, February 7, 2016 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. Glenn was born on January 10, 1950 in Sheboygan, the son of Edgar F. and Gertrude M. (Prigge) Koeser. Glenn graduated from Manitowoc Lutheran High School in 1968. On July 12, 1975 he married Patricia Kultgen at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada. Glenn worked at the Bruce Foundry and Willman Industries since 1978. He also worked at Curt Joa Co. for five years. Glenn was a member of St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Kohler where he was a communion distributor. He served on the Oostburg Volunteer Fire Dept. for 15 years and was a crossing guard in Oostburg for over ten years. Glenn enjoyed everything about the outdoors, bird watching, hiking, nature, animals, golf, and fishing. He was an accomplished woodworker and valued his time doing Bible study, personal devotions and time with his grandchildren. Glenn will be remembered for his sense of humor and unique personality. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia, of Oostburg; one daughter, Susie (Adam) Osypowski of Stevens Point; one son, Nick (Trisha) Koeser of Sheboygan Falls, three grandchildren, Ian and Addison Osypowski and Emma Koeser; one sister Mary, (Robert) Popple of Chippewa Falls; two brothers-in-law, Steve (Deb) Kultgen and Donald (Ann) Kultgen, both of Random Lake; an aunt, uncle, nieces and nephews. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elaine Koeser. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Kohler on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10 am with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Burial will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Sheboygan Falls. Family and friends will gather at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Thursday from 4-7 pm, and at church on Friday from 9 am until the time of Mass at 10 am.
