Gladys Gertrude Krebsbach, 97, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.Gladys was born on May 14, 1921, in Theresa, to Bernard and Amalia (Christian) Toellner. She attended Mayville School. On March 26, 1938, Gladys married Elmer in Byron, WI. He preceded her in death on September 24, 1990. Gladys was a dedicated wife and mother.Gladys was a member of the Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls, where she was involved in the Christian Women's Society. She was a volunteer at the Senior Citizen Center. Gladys enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan,, crocheting, playing cards, especially Sheepshead at the senior center and putting jigsaw puzzles together, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Jane (Mike) Kleckner; two sons, James (Lola) Krebsbach and Jerome (Debra) Krebsbach; son-in-law, Thomas (JoAnn) Schutte; eleven grandchildren, Michael (Mary) Schutte, Dawn (David) Gosse, Julie (Roman) Katzer, Brian (Dawn) Schutte, Scott Krebsbach, Mark (Erin) Krebsbach, Trisha (Jake) Bernier, Katie Krebsbach, Marissa Kleckner, Stephanie Kleckner, and Brianna Kleckner; seven great-grandchildren, Tiffany Steffen, Tyler Gosse, Tanya Scharinger, Chaise Katzer, Roman Katzer III, Reese Krebsbach, and Brooks Krebsbach; and three great-great-grandchildren; Emerson Gosse, Laila Steffen, and Annabelle Scharinger. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; daughter, Janet Schutte; son, Robert Krebsbach; two sisters, Adeline Wendorf, and Viola Walter; and brother, Melvin Toellner.A funeral service to celebrate Gladys's life will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at 12 pm at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Joe Dominic officiating. A burial will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls.Relatives and friends may greet the family at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 10 am until the time of service at 12 pm.
