Gerald Rolloff

Gerald L. Rolloff, 88, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Woodland Manor. Gerald was born on February 12, 1929, in Sidnaw, Michigan, son of Forest and Emily (Raymond) Rolloff. He was a 1948 graduate of Chilton High School. Gerald served in US Army from 1951-1961. On June 8, 1957, he married Lorraine S. Jung at St. Peter UCC in the Town of Rhine. Gerald was employed with the Kohler Co. for 29 years until his retirement in 1991. Gerald was a member of Grace UCC in Kohler. He was a former member of VFW Post 6707 in Kiel, where he served as a Post Commander. Gerald enjoyed word puzzles, fishing, card playing, reading, casino trips, and going for walks. Gerald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lorraine; his son, Michael (Lisa) Rolloff of Sheboygan; his two daughters, Mary Ann (Tom) Barlow of Oshkosh and Michelle (Jeff) Post of Delavan; two grandchildren, Jennifer Bohnhoff and James Post; and one sister, Joanne Schreiber of South Milwaukee. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Laverne (Kenneth) Knepfel, his three brothers, Clarence (Lilly) Rolloff, Bert (Jean) Rolloff, and Ronald (Susan) Rolloff, and his brother-in-law, Harlan Schreiber. A funeral service to celebrate Gerald's life will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, February 24, 2017, at the Chapel of Eternal Light at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Tom Schroeder officiating. Entombment will take place at Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan. Relatives and friends may gather at the chapel from 10:30 am until the time of the service at 11:30 am. A memorial fund has been established in Gerald's name for Grace UCC.
