Gary K. Wieseckel, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Angel's Grace Hospice. Gary was born on November 20, 1941, in Sheboygan, son of Gilbert and Lucy (Karls) Wieseckel. He was a 1959 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. On July 17, 1963 Gary married Joanne Platz in Elkhart Lake. They were married 48 years and had five children. Gary started Falls Janitorial Service and was the owner/operator for over 10 years. He then went to work at the Kohler Company and worked in the pottery for over 30 years. Gary was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. He had been an active member of the Sheboygan Falls Jaycees and a Falls Fest founder. He was involved with the Old Timers Club, delivered for meals on wheels and a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club. Gary enjoyed genealogy, card playing, hunting, fishing, golfing, word puzzles, and spending time with family and friends and attending his grandchildren's many sporting activities. Gary is survived by his daughter, Jill (Robert) Burkard of Oconomowoc; his three sons, Joel (Dianne) Wieseckel of Sussex, David (Linda) Wieseckel of Las Vegas, and Matthew (Kristen) Wieseckel of Madison; twelve grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Voigt of Sheboygan and Carol Bork of West Bend; one brother, John (Ann) Wieseckel of Sheboygan Falls; and his former wife, Joanne Wieseckel. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, Patrick Wieseckel and one brother-in-law, Patrick Bork. A Memorial Mass to celebrate Gary's life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls. Relatives and friends may gather at the church on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 10am until the time of the memorial mass at 1pm.
