Gary James Shufflebotham Gary J. Shufflebotham, 61 of W3236 S County Rd A, Oostburg, peacefully went home to his Lord on Thursday, May 14th, 2009 at his home. Gary was born on September 14, 1947 in Sheboygan, son of the late Donald Shufflebotham and Elizabeth (Nyenhuis) Shufflebotham. He was 1966 graduate of Oostburg High School and attended Milwaukee Institute of Technology. On September 26, 1970 he married Judith Heinen in Oostburg. Gary was employed as a laborer with Allen Edmonds for 19 years until his retirement in 2008. Gary was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Oostburg. He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, camping, car detailing and traveling. Survivors include his wife Judith; three daughters, Brenda ( Eugene) Thede of Sheboygan, Jennifer (Todd) Chaloupka of Oostburg, Susan (Viviano) Montes of Sheboygan; four sons, Andrew (Fiancé Cathy Nennig) Shufflebotham of Sheboygan Falls, Jonathan (Jana) Shufflebotham of Sheboygan Falls, Peter (friend Brooke Den Boer) Shufflebotham of LaCrescent MN, Matthew Shufflebotham of Oostburg; nine grandchildren, Eugene Thede III, Tyler, Caleb, and Allyssa Chaloupka, Cody, Corissa, and Cayden Shufflebotham, Monique Moore, Selena Montes; a special niece, Adrianna Walcott of Oostburg; two sisters, Peg Flipse of Sheboygan, Gail (Linc) Davies of Oostburg; one brother, James (Diane) Shufflebotham of Sheboygan; five brother-in-laws, Victor (Shirley) Pahmeier of Howards Grove, William (Joan) Heinen of Sheboygan, Gerald (Darlene) Heinen of Hingham, David (Carolyn) Heinen of Sheboygan, Rick (Jan) Heinen of Oostburg; three sister-in-laws, Marcia (Dan) Sohre of Cleveland, Sylvia (Dwight) Ludens of Oostburg, Janet (Tom) Walcott of Oostburg. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna Pahmeier. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 18, 2009 at 11:00 am at First Christian Reformed Church in Oostburg with the Rev. Dr. Les Kuiper, pastor, officiating. Burial will take place at Hartman Cemetery in Town of Wilson. Friends may call at The Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 2-6 pm, and at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of services.
