Friedola Dengel

Friedola D. Dengel, 89, formerly of Howards Grove, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Plymouth Care Center in Plymouth. Friedola was born June 26, 1920 in the Town of Herman to Carl and Emma (Prange) Dengel. She worked for H.C. Prange Co. for many years, retiring in 1983. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Howards Grove. She enjoyed farming, gardening, and embroidery. Friedola is survived by: four nieces, Mildred (Louis) Wiegand of Cleveland, Marion Roethel of Howards Grove, Jane (Robert) Konik of Fond du Lac, Joan (Phil) DeMunck of Chicago City, MN; one nephew, Eugene (Helen) Rautmann of Johnsonville; other relatives and friends. Friedola was preceded in death by: her parents; one brother, Hubert; four sisters, Elenora Nordholz, Leona Schomberg, Ovila Rautmann, Norma Dengel; one niece, Helen Schomberg. Funeral services for Friedola will be at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Howards Grove with Rev. Tom Unke officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery following the service. Relatives and friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the church. A memorial fund is being established in Friedola's name for the monument in the old St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Howards Grove.
