Frederic Sanford

Frederic J. Sanford, 79, of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Frederic was born on December 17, 1935, in Sheboygan Falls, son of Joe and Mavis (Scheffel) Sanford. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School. Frederic served in the US Air Force from 1958-1961. On October 25, 1958, he married Carol Tetschlag in Sheboygan. Frederic was employed as a mechanic with Tecumseh Products in New Holstein for 25 years until his retirement in 1998. Frederic enjoyed mechanics, small engine repair, and fishing. He will be remembered as Mr. Fix-it. Frederic is survived by his daughter, Lori (Michael) Place of Sheboygan; his son, Robert Sanford of Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Robbie, Brianna, Eric, and Sonja; and one sister, Joan Bruggink of Sheboygan Falls. Frederic was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Carol; three sons, Rusty, Ronald, and Randy Sanford; one grandson, Brandon Sanford; one sister, Evelyn Whittman; and one brother-in-law, Allen Bruggink. Private family services were held.
