Florence Trowbridge

Florence Trowbridge, 86, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at her home. Florence was born on May 3, 1930 in Milwaukee to Charles and Sophie (Kramek) Galbari. She was a 1948 graduate of Plymouth High School. She was formerly married to Kenneth Johanning; on May 11, 1971 she married Jeffrey Trowbridge, he preceded her in death on December 30, 2012. Florence was a former employee of Bemis Manufacturing. Florence was an avid Packer fan; enjoyed gardening, feeding her birds, going up north to the cottage and loved traveling with her family and friends, especially her trips to Hawaii. Florence is survived by four daughters, Jorja (Fred) Kulow of Plymouth, Tammy (Michael) Schaller of Waldo, Kathleen Saladino of Sheboygan, and Marie (David) Konz of Newton; three sons, Michael Trowbridge of Sheboygan Falls, Tommy Trowbridge of FL and Dennis Trowbridge of AZ; nine grandchildren, Trever (Wendy) Kulow, Heather (Jeff) Gruenke, Sanya (John) DeBlaey, Justin (Dana) Schaller, Rebecca and Jenny Saladino, Nicole (Ben) Hartmann, Nathan (Christina) Scherer, and Shannon Sargeant; 17 great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Doris Galbari; one brother-in-law, Walter "Laddie" (Asiati) Trowbridge and special niece, Dorothy (Dick) Meyer. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Florence was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jeffrey; one sister, Emily Galbari; two brothers, Charles Galbari and Steve (Charlotte) Galbari and one brother-in-law, William Trowbridge. A funeral service to celebrate Florence's life will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 1 pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Kathy Reid officiating. Entombment will be at Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in the town of Sheboygan. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Wenig Funeral Home from 11 am until the time of service at 1 pm.
