Everdeen Heuver

Everdeen H. Heuver, 73, of Oostburg, died Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Everdeen was born March 27, 1937 in Sheboygan to Lester and Elizabeth (Wassink) Ten Pas. She graduated from Cedar Grove High School in 1955 and Sheboygan County Normal School in 1957. On June 6, 1959 Everdeen married Keith Heuver at First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove. Everdeen taught at West Oostburg and Cedar Grove Elementary Schools and as a substitute teacher for area schools for many years. Everdeen was a member of Calvary OPC in Cedar Grove where she taught Sunday school and was involved in the Esther Society. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Everdeen is survived by her: husband Keith; one son, Tom Heuver of Oostburg; three grandchildren, Katie, Christopher, and Evan Klueger; one son-in-law, Mark (Tammy) Klueger of Elkhart Lake; one sister, Linda (Roy) Huibregtse of Cedar Grove; sister-in-law, Julaine (Larry) Bayer of NC; brother-in-law, Daniel (Nancy) Heuver of Cedar Grove; aunt, Erna Ten Haken of Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Everdeen was preceded in death by her: parents; one daughter, Susan Klueger; two infant brothers; parents-in-law, Elmer and Bernice Heuver. A celebration of Everdeen's life will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Calvary OPC in Cedar Grove with Rev. Ronald L. Beabout officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 (TODAY) at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church. A memorial fund is being established in Everdeen's name for Calvary OPC.
