Evelyn G. Konings Evelyn G. Konings, 82, formerly of Oostburg died on Tuesday morning, November 4, 2008 at Pine Haven Christian Home where she had resided for the past two years. Evelyn was born on October 25, 1926 in the Town of Holland, the daughter of the late John and Henrietta "Annie" (Heuver) Konings. Evelyn graduated from North Cedar Grove School and the Cedar Grove High School in 1945. She was a payroll clerk and computer operator at the H. C. Prange Co. in Sheboygan for over 45 years before her retirement in 1990. Evelyn was a lifelong member of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Cedar Grove where she was active as a Sunday School teacher, Esther Society, choir, and various family music trios and quartets. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, tatting and music. Evelyn is survived by a sister, Marion Konings, of Pine Haven Christian Home and numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Konings, and two brothers, an infant, Gerald; and Allan Konings. Funeral services will be held at 6 pm on Friday, November 7, 2008 at the Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Cedar Grove with the Rev. Ronald Beabout officiating. Burial will take place at Oostburg Cemetery in the Town of Holland. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 4-6 pm.
