Evelyn Grams

Evelyn E. Grams, 90, a longtime resident of Sheboygan Falls, died on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Pine Haven Christian Home. Evelyn was born on June 1, 1919 in the Town of Newton, Marquette County, daughter of the late Gustave and Clara (Wegenke) Reimann. On September 17, 1949 she married Alvin T. Grams in the Town of Newton. Alvin preceded her in death on June 6, 1990. Evelyn was employed at St. Nicholas Hospital and then at Tecumseh Diecast until the time of her retirement in 1981. Evelyn was member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. She enjoyed cross-stitch, embroidery, patchwork quits, gardening, and bingo. Recently she was fortunate to celebrate her 90th birthday with family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Donna (Randall) Rautmann of rural Sheboygan Falls; two granddaughters, Sara and Rachel Rautmann, both of Sheboygan Falls; two sisters, Elenora Koslosky and Adelia Golz, both of Princeton, WI; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, and a sister, Adeline Wedde. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Tom Gudmundson officiating. Burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 until the time of the service at 11:00. A memorial fund has been established in her name for Pine Haven Christian Home and St. Paul Lutheran Church.
