Ethel F. Conner, 80, of 336 North Main Street, Cedar Grove died unexpectedly on Monday evening, June 16, 2008 at St. Nicholas Hospital. Ethel was born on August 2, 1927 in Woodlyn, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Luther and Marion (Weidner) Plath. She graduated from Ridley Township High School in 1945. On July 3, 1945 Ethel married the late Warren R. Conner in Woodlyn, PA. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2007. Ethel was a member of the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her many friends. She is survived by two sons, Warren Jr (Linda) Conner of Omaha, Nebraska and Kenneth (Colette) Conner of Garnet Valley, PA; five grandchildren, Dawn (Jeff) Cooley, Mindy (Ryan) Lindquist, Devon (Jeremy) Bauer, Stacey (Peter) Zarro and Kenneth (Melanie) Conner; nine great grandchildren, Mitchell Booher, Abby, Conner, Kallie Lindquist, Collin Bauer, Vincent, Nick, Samantha, and Isabella Zarro; and one brother, George (Shirley) Plath of Wilmington, DE. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Warren; two sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm on Friday, June 20, 2008 at the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove with the Rev. Kent Vant Hul officiating. Friends may greet the family at the church on Friday from 2 pm until the time of the service at 4 pm.
