Esther Hemschemeyer, 69, Sheboygan, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.Esther was born on February 10, 1948 in Plymouth to Alex and Grace (DeZwarte) Lefeber. She was a 1966 graduate of Plymouth High School.  On November 12, 1966 she married Richard Hemschemeyer at Greenbush Methodist Church. Esther was previously employed by Kmart and Walmart. Esther enjoyed sewing, doing crafts and loved spending time taking care of her garden.Esther is survived by her two sons, Tracy (Dawn) Hemschemeyer and Christopher Hemschemeyer both of Sheboygan; two grandsons, Nicholas and Matthew; two sisters, Julia Henning and Mary Ann (LaVern) Koenen; and two brothers, John (Paula) Lefeber and Richard Brown. She is further survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, on June 27, 2015; one son, Jody; her parents; and one brother, George.A funeral service to celebrate Esther's life will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 1pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. James Hartman officiating. Burial will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.Relatives and friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 10am until the time of service at 1pm.     A memorial fund is being established in Esther's name.For online condolences and additional information please visit www.wenigfh.com The staff of the Wenig Funeral Home of Sheboygan Falls (920-467-3431) is assisting Esther's family with arrangements.
