Ermina "Minnie" Schaub, 83, of 828 Buffalo Street, Sheboygan Falls died on Friday evening, March 6, 2009 at Pine Haven Christian Home where she had resided the past nine months. Minnie was born on April 11, 1925 in St. Cloud, the daughter of the late Matthew and Margaret (Feldner) Berenz. She attended St. Cloud Catholic School. On June 13, 1946 she married the late Alois M. Schaub in St. Cloud. He preceded her in death on October 5, 1991. Minnie was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. Minnie enjoyed cooking, doing word puzzles, TV soap operas, and tending to her special needs daughter. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Schaub of Sheboygan Falls; four sons, James Schaub of Sheboygan Falls, Richard (Denise) Schaub of Plymouth, Jerome (Louise) Schaub of Louis Corners, and Thomas Schaub of Greenbush; three grandchildren, Alyssia (Mike) Schirripa, Jeremy (Lori) Schaub and Tina (Clint) Kasprzak; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Angelita Schmitz of New Holstein, and Dorothy Schmitz of St. Cloud; and two brothers, Alfred (Delores) Berenz, and Claude (Alice) Berenz both of Plymouth. She is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Donald Sippel of St. Cloud and Wilfred Schmitz of Mt. Calvary; and sisters-in-law, Delores Berger of Fond du Lac, Gloria (William) Hackbarth of St. Cloud, Elizabeth Tautges of Chandler, AZ, Henrietta (Frank) Watson of Spooner, Lorraine Schaub of Fond du Lac, and numerous nieces and nephews. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Alois; one sister, Aldine Sippel; one brother, Harold (Ellen) Berenz; sisters-in-law, Beatrice (Ed) Abler, Alice Schmitz and Sedonia (Leroy) Lassig, and brothers-in-law, Joseph Schaub, Benno Schaub, Marvin Schaub, Elmer Schmitz and Leander Schmitz. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 with the Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Tuesday from 4-7 pm, and on Wednesday, at church from 9:30 am until the time of Mass at 10:30 am.
