Ellen R. Willadsen, 88, formerly of Sunny Ridge Nursing Home, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Ellen was born April 11, 1919 in Split Rock, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Walter and Lillie (Schmidt) Seefeldt. She was a 1937 graduate of Central High School in Sheboygan. On April 15, 1939 she married Andrew M. Willadsen in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on October 15, 1977. She was a stay at home mom who enjoyed raising her family prior to her years of employment as an inspector and packer at Ellinger Wood. She also had been employed at the Bemis Company. Ellen was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Sheboygan Falls and St. Paul Lutheran Ladies Auxiliary. She also volunteered at the office at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Survivors include six children, Cary (Mildred) Willadsen of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Mary Ellen (Dennis) Reineking of Elkhart Lake, David Willadsen of San Francisco, Calif., Diane Willadsen of Sheboygan, Allan (Sharon) Willadsen of Rural Plymouth and Scott (Karen) Willadsen of Sheboygan Falls; ten grandchildren, Tracy (Holly), Troy (friend, Tanya), Tammy (friend, Joe), Travis, Robin ( Patrice), Eric (Amanda), Stacey, Stephanie (Michael), Sara and Andy; five great grandchildren, Cameron, Caitlyn, Jacob, Samantha and Garrett; a sister, Violet (Dallas) Hulce-Masterson of Anchorage, Alaska; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Seefeldt of Sheboygan, Ruth Uhrhammer of California; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Alice and James Campbell of California. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Andrew, a sister, Wilma Stroessner, and a brother, John Seefeldt. Funeral services for Ellen will take place on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Tom Gudmundson, pastor, officiating. Burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. A memorial fund will be established in her name.
