Eilzabeth Gosse

Elizabeth "Betty" Gosse, 88, of Oostburg, died Saturday night, August 3, 2013 at Meadowview Manor Nursing Home where she resided for the past three weeks. Betty was born on October 21, 1924 in Morrison, WI, the daughter of David and Margaret (Moschel) Krueger. She attended Wayside Lutheran Grade School. On December 11, 1941, she married the late Arleigh Gosse in Dubuque, Iowa. Arleigh preceded her in death on September 11, 2000. Betty worked at Lakeside Foods for 35 years prior to her retirement. She and her husband also farmed in the Town of Lima for over 30 years. Betty was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. She enjoyed growing flowers, bird watching, polka music and dancing. Betty is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Gosse of Cedar Grove; a sister, Lydia Jodadski of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Arleigh; a son, Donald Gosse, five brothers and one sister. A funeral to celebrate Betty's life will take place at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 10:30 am with the Rev. Tom Gudmundson officiating. Family and friends will gather at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Tuesday from 9 am until the time of the service.
