Edna Pietenpol

Edna M. Pietenpol, 96, formerly of the Town of Holland, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013, at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake. Edna was born on September 26, 1916, in the Town of Holland, daughter of Edward and Cena (Ramaker) Pietenpol. She attended Greene School in the Town of Holland. Edna was a member of Hingham Reformed Church. She enjoyed baseball, gardening, flowers, and reading. Edna is survived by many friends. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Anna (Harley) Dulmes, Ella (Harvey) Dulmes, and Ruth Pietenpol, and one brother, Walter Pietenpol. A graveside service to celebrate Edna's life will be at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Hingham Cemetery in the Town of Lima with Rev. Steven J. Bakker officiating. A memorial fund has been established in Edna's name for Hingham Reformed Church. A special thanks to the staff at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake and Hospice Advantage for their wonderful care and compassion.
