Edmund G. Gliniecki, 87, of N2729 Main St., Waldo (Hingham), died Monday, May 8, 2006 at St. Nicholas Hospital. Edmund was born February 3, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Bruno and Julia (Kruziski) Gliniecki. On January 13, 1940, he married Evelyn Spitza in Stevens Point. Edmund worked for 30 years at A.O. Smith in Milwaukee in the prototype shop retiring in 1979. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls and Local 19806 Steelworker Union. Edmund enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, yard work and racing. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; three daughters, Arlene (Wally) Sonier of Menomonee Falls, Ann Marie (Chuck) Pokorny of West Bend, Kathleen (Ralph) Wollenberg of Waldo; two sons, Dave (Pat) Gliniecki of Iola and Dennis (Darlene) Gliniecki of West Bend; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one sister, Agnes Kulinski of Milladore; and one brother, Ernest Gliniecki of New Berlin. He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Blessed Trinity Parish with the Rev. Eugene Neuman, as celebrant. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Mass. A memorial fund will be established in his name.
