Edith Jagerink, 94, of Oostburg, died on Saturday afternoon, November 19, 2011 at Countryside Manor in Sheboygan where she had resided for the past five years. Edith was born on February 3, 1917 in the Town of Lima, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Bernadena (Debbink) Ramaker. She graduated from Oostburg High School in 1935. On February 22, 1939 she married the late Raymond Jagerink in the Town of Lima. He preceded her in death on March 30, 1980. Edith was a longtime member of the First Reformed Church in Oostburg, the Young at Heart group, and the Lakeview Homemakers Club. She enjoyed playing dominoes, quilting, embroidery, baking, gardening, flowers, bird watching, and writing. She enjoyed Sunday afternoon car rides with Ray and spending winters in Florida with him. Edith enjoyed spending time with her friends and going out to eat with her high school classmates. Edith is survived by four daughters, Jane (Charles) Brown of Sheboygan, Mary Ellen (Denny) Krepsky of Sheboygan, Joanne (Mark) Lensink of Oostburg, Barbara (Mark) Schjoneman of Harshaw; eight grandchildren, Deanne (Blair) Sisson, Rodney (Barbara) Wiegele, Matthew (Kim) Krespky, Denise Krepsky, Nathan Lensink, Peter (Amanda) Lensink, Marshall (Stacy) Schjoneman, Liezen (Michael) Van Loh; nine great grandchildren; three step grandchildren, Brad Brown, Brenda (Roman Draughon) Brown, Amy (Michael) Schroeder; four step great grandchildren; five step great great grandchildren; one brother, Hubert Ramaker of Prairie du Sac; nieces and nephews. Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; two sisters, June (Harry) Schinker and Doris DeBlaey, one brother, Allen (Alma) Ramaker, and one brother-in-law, Robert DeBlaey. A funeral service to celebrate Edith's life will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the First Reformed Church in Oostburg with the Rev. Wayne DeVrou officiating. Burial will take place at the Oostburg Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the First Reformed Church on Tuesday from 9 am until the time of the service at 11 am.
