Dwayne A. Siemers, 87, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at the Sheboygan Senior Community in the Town of Sheboygan. He was born on October 19, 1928 in Sheboygan Falls to the late Adolf and Lane Siemers. Dwayne was a veteran of the U.S Navy in Cuba. He worked for many years at the Kohler Company in the enamel shop, and retired to create a ceramic business with his wife. Dwayne's greatest pleasures in life were spending time at his cottage in Northern Wisconsin, rebuilding lawn mowers, and collecting and selling military rifles. He is survived by 2 nephews, Terry (Susan) Martin and Jamie (Lori) Martin, three nieces, Laurel (Scott) Webb, Holly (Chuck) Miesfeld, and Shelly (Steve) Lawrence, and 5 great nephews, and 3 great nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen (Pohlod) Siemer; his sister Nyla (Siemers) Martin; and an infant brother Donald Siemers. A memorial service to celebrate Dwayne's life will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, February 5, 2016, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Tom Gudmundson officiating. Inurnment will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Kohler. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of choice.
