Dorothy Scripture

Dorothy F. Scripture, 82, formerly of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013, at Meadowview Manor in Sheboygan. Dorothy was born on September 9, 1931, in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of William and Genevieve (Eckel) Wagenbach. She attended Immaculata High School in Chicago. On October 12, 1979, she married Raymond L. Scripture in Waukegan, IL. Raymond preceded her in death on September 16, 1995. Dorothy was employed with A.C. Nielsen Co. for seven years until her retirement in 1993. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and spending time with her grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her four sons, Harold E. "Skip" Campbell of Woodstock, GA, Thomas (Brenda) Campbell of Clearwater, FL, Scott (Debra) Campbell of Sheboygan, and Steve Campbell of Rolling Meadows, IL; one step-son, Raymond (Mary Lou) Scripture of Waukegan, IL; two step-daughters, Bonnie (Ed) Price of Mooresville, NC, Deborah (JR) Rodriguez of Phoenix, AZ; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Harold Campbell of Phoenix, AZ. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 15 years, Raymond. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 13, 2013, at Word of Grace Community Church, 837 Buffalo Street, Sheboygan Falls, with Pastor Mike Lueck officiating. Visitation will be at 5:00 pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations would be accepted by Word of Grace Community Church, which then will be shared with Pastor Mike's Grief Share program.
