Dorothy Kesweder

Dorothy J. Kesweder, 84, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Pine Haven Christian Home. Dorothy was born on April 16, 1928, in Greenbush, daughter of Edgar and Lorraine (Bonnett) Conger. She was a 1946 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. On November 23, 1950, she married Frederick J. Kesweder in Sheboygan Falls. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1983. Dorothy was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses - Sheboygan South. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and reading. Dorothy was always helping and caring for others, and generous with her time and resources. Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Darwin) Gudex of Fond du Lac and Margaret (John) Knaub of Sheboygan; two sons, Marvin Kesweder of Sheboygan Falls and Calvin (Tina) Kesweder of Sheboygan Falls; seven grandchildren, Rachel Gudex, Rebecca Meixner, Tammy Claudel, Joel Gudex, Brad Knaub, Ryan Knaub, and Tiffany Knaub; six great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Conger of Sheboygan Falls and Meta "Ditta" Nick of Kokoma, IN. Dorothy is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her son Robert Kesweder, an infant sister, and two brothers, Gilbert "Bert" Conger and Edgar "Bud" Conger. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, October 14, 2012, from noon until 4:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls at 10:00 am on Monday, October 15, 2012, with Elder Steven Jackson officiating. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Sheboygan. A memorial fund has been established in Dorothy's name.
