Doris Yancey

Doris E. Yancey, 100, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Shores of Sheboygan.

Doris was born on August 15, 1921, to Arthur and Ethel (Hawe) Stipe in Mendon, Illinois. She was united in marriage to Russell Yancey on March 13, 1946. Doris enjoyed drawing, painting, and gardening, and was a talented cook.

Doris is survived by her son, Michael Yancey; daughter, LaVonne (John) Frank; grandchildren, Dawn Yancey, Matthew (Rachel) Yancey; great-grandchildren, Bryce and Austin Yancey; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Mary Yancey, sister, Mary Parrack and brother, Bill Stipe.

Private family services will be held. She will be entombed next to her husband, Russell, at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
