Donald Wensink

Donald Alan Wensink, 71, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2018 at his home.  He was born November 13, 1946 in Sheboygan to Ellsworth and Margaret (Lubbers) Wensink.  He attended Gibbsville Grade School and Oostburg High School.  He served his country and received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Navy.  Don was a long distance semi-truck driver.  Don enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially ice fishing. Donald is survived by his son Donald (Jesse) Wensink of Maribel; daughters Hollie (Brandon) Kregel of Sheboygan; Kristina Wensink and April Wensink; four grandchildren; three step-daughters and step-grandchildren; his brother Tom (Kathy) Wensink of Oostburg; his sister Joan (David) Dykstra of Oostburg; and his former wife Gwynne Wensink.  Donald is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and "fishing buddies". Donald was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Shirley (Jerry) Felsinger. Cremation has taken place.  Private services and a celebration of Don's life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the Wenig Funeral Home for their caring help and support during this time.  The family is also grateful for the prayers and support of family and friends.
