Donald Stahl

Donald M. Stahl, 75, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Aurora Grafton Medical Center. Don was born on August 21, 1941 to Monroe and Lorena (Krueger) Stahl at the family farm in Sheboygan County. Don was a graduate of Waldo High School in 1959. On September 1, 1962 he married Barbara Thalheim, she preceded him in death on November 14, 1992. On August 16, 2002 he married Opal Koeller, she preceded him in death on September 21, 2010. Don enjoyed woodworking, polka music, and John Deere Tractors. Don is survived by his two sons, Mark (Connie) Stahl of Lake Mills and Rob (Christina) Stahl of Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Karry (Tony) Garza, Lisa Stahl, Jordan Stahl and Elijah Stahl; four great grandchildren; his faithful companion, Daisy; two sisters, Joyce Schmidt and Bev (Louie) Luedtke; one sister-in-law, Brenda (Bill) Jensen; one brother-in-law, Jere Keller. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Don was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Barbara; second wife, Opal; special friend, Terri Pritzel; one sister, Eunice (Willard) Eimermann; one brother-in-law, Eugene Schmidt; one sister-in-law, Diane Keller. A service will be held on October 15, 2016 at 11:30am at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls. Relatives and friends may gather from 10am until the time of service at 11:30am. Inurnment will take place at Beechwood Union Cemetery with a luncheon immediately following at the Beechwood Fire Hall. A memorial fund is being established in Don's name.
