Donald E. Gregoire, 76, of Sheboygan Falls, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Donald was born on October 4, 1936, in St. Anna, Wisconsin, the son of the late Edmund and Lucille (Arnez) Gregoire. He served in the US-Army from 1956 until 1959. Donald married Ione Ruh on February 11, 1956 at St. Anna Catholic Church. They had four children together. Donald was a hard-working man his entire life. He was employed as a supervisor with Techumseh for 35 years until his retirement in 1996. Donald was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, sturgeon fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Donald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ione; his daughter, Deborah (Fred) Walsh of Sheboygan Falls; three sons, Edmund (Linda) Gregoire, Douglas (Lori) Gregoire, and Michael (Keena) Gregoire, all of Sheboygan Falls; eight grandchildren, Joseph, Joshua, and Trisha Walsh, Jamie (Eric) Fait, Kristin Gregoire, Lindsay (Joshua) Zimmerman, Jeremy (Dawn) Gregoire, and Donovan (special friend Samantha Leibham); five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ellen (Ronald) Sabel; four brothers, Lloyd (Madeline) Gregoire, Earl (Linda) Gregoire, Kenneth (Cindy) Gregoire, and David Gregoire; five brothers-in-law, Eugene (Dorothy) Ruh, James (Dorothy) Ruh, Kenneth (Charlotte) Ruh, Ralph Ferrara, and Lloyd Ruh; and five sisters-in-law, Audrey O'Donnell, Fayth Sobecke, LoAnn Ruh, Jannett Ruh, and Nita Ruh. Donald is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his niece, Lynn Jewitt; his nephews, Todd Gregoire and Kurt Sabel; parents-in-law, Arthur and Irene Ruh; sister-in-laws, Peggy Ruh, Delores Ruh, and Betty Ruh; brothers-in-law, Lloyd O'Donnell, Danny Sobecke, Robert Ruh, Victor Ruh, Elwood Ruh, and Art Ruh, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Donald's life will take place at 6:00 pm on Friday, December 28, 2012, at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Entombment will take place at Garden of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 2:00 pm until the time of Mass at 6:00 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Donald's name.
