Dolores C. Rach, 72, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Dolores was born November 16, 1937 in Sheboygan Falls to Elmer and Lorena (Weber) Diefenthaler. She graduated from Kiel High School in 1955. On October 12, 1957 she married Ronald Rach at St. Peter and Paul Church in Kiel. In 2007 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Dolores worked in food service for the Kohler schools for 10 years but most of her life was dedicated to raising her family. She loved cooking and baking for her family. She enjoyed her cruises and her travels to many countries. She also enjoyed family camping, reading, and flower gardening. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Kohler. Dolores is survived by her: husband of 52 years, Ronald; one daughter, Debbie (Dick) Gordon of Sheboygan; four sons, David (Shari) of Janesville, WI, Kenneth (Terri) of Burlington, WI, Randall (Stephenie) of Whitefish Bay, WI, Kevin of New Berlin, WI; six grandchildren, Melissa (Joe) Balistreri, Aaron and Jenna Rach, Caitlin and Natalie Rach, Samantha Rach; three step-grandchildren, Melissa (Steve) Kuchinski, Jason (Christine) Gordon, Adam (Lily) Gordon; one great-granddaughter, Ava Rose Balistreri; four step-great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Reid Kuchinski, Olivia and Benjamin Gordon; one sister, Sylvia (Wally) Ramminger; sister and brother-in-laws, Arlene (Harold) Schuessler, Donna (Ralph) Diefenthaler, Marjorie Sass, Bernice (Erne) Kohlmann, Rosemary (Ambrose) Stephanie, Marvin (Christine) Rach, Gerald (Yvonne) Rach; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Entombment will be in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum, Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Sheboygan. Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, Dolores's family suggests that memorials be directed to Sheboygan Cancer and Blood Specialists c/o Dr. Mark S. Bettag or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in her name.
