Dolores G. Heidenreiter, 80, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Tuesday morning, February 22, 2011 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Dolores was born on August 13, 1930 in Marshfield, the daughter of the late Arthur and Gladys (Willner) Budahn. She attended school at St. John's in Marshfield and was a 1948 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. On October 21, 1950 she married Erwin Heidenreiter in Sheboygan Falls. Erwin preceded her in death on December 28, 1998. Dolores was a member of the First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls. Dolores had a love for cooking and cooked at various restaurants in the area. Dolores was owner of Heidi's Hut in Sheboygan Falls and later worked at Holiday Trim in Belgium. She was inducted as a member of the Bowlers Hall of Fame, and was a lifetime member of the Sheboygan Women's Bowling Association and served on the Board of Directors for over 20 years. Dolores also was a Campfire leader and Cub Scouts den mother. She enjoyed cooking, puzzles, playing bingo and other games with her family, and family gatherings. Dolores is survived by four daughters, Elizabeth (Don) DePagter of Sheboygan Falls, Kathleen (John) Felton of Sheboygan Falls, Anna (Michael) Back of Sheboygan Falls and Christine (Vince) Kriner of Killeen, TX; two sons, Peter (Kay) Heidenreiter of Waldo and Verne (friend Karen) Heidenreiter of Sheboygan Falls; daughter-in-law, Romayne Heidenreiter of Sheboygan Falls; 17 grandchildren, Debbie (Todd) DeZoute, Kurt (Laura) DePagter, Michael (Robyn) DePagter, Jeffrey DePagter, Aaron (Connie) Lund, Mayme (James) Verburg, Andrea (Brad) Starr, Gina (friend Andres) Mendoza, Stephanie (friend Eric) Heidenreiter, Kelly Donahue, Matthew (Stephanie) Back, Amanda (Ben) Kuehmichel, Alicia (friend Jared) Back, Crystal (Andrew) Bruggink, Victoria (friend Robert) Heidenreiter, Amber Heidenreiter and Samantha Kriner; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jacklyn Lawrence of Sheboygan Falls and Marlene (Warren) Schneider; one brother, Jerome (Jeanne) Budahn of Sheboygan Falls; and several nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Paul Heidenreiter. Funeral services will be held at 6 pm on Friday evening, February 25, 2011 at the First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls, with the Rev. Brad Veenendaal officiating. Burial will take place in Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls on Friday from 3 pm until thte time of the service at 6 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Dolores' name for the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
