Dolores Bruckbauer

Dolores M. Bruckbauer, 85, of Oostburg, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. Dolores was born on January 17, 1926 in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late William and Clara (Lindsteadt) Heid. She graduated from Pulaski High School in Milwaukee in 1944. On September 1, 1945 she married Lyle Bruckbauer in Milwaukee. Lyle preceded her in death on January 25, 1983. Dolores was a supervisor with Globe Union in Milwaukee for 20 years until her retirement in 1970. Dolores enjoyed cooking, crafts, flowers, hosting parties and entertaining, playing cards,Scrabble and her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed St. Patrick's Day, even though she wasn't Irish. Dolores is survived by three daughters, Patricia (Dennis) Kuehn of Sussex, Penny (Tom) Endres of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Priscilla (Scott Otterson) Waldhuetter of Oostburg; one son, William (Nancy) Bruckbauer of Sheboygan; seven grandchildren, Don (Lisa) Kuehn, Sandy (Martin) Gregoire, Christopher (Vicki) Kuehn, Justin (Wendi) Endres, Kyle (Anna) Endres, Brad Waldhuetter, and Kim (Lee) Koeppen; and 13 great-grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, an infant great-grandson, Cody Waldhuetter; and an infant brother, Robert Heid. Funeral services for Dolores will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 6 pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg. Interment will take place in Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee. Relatives and friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3 pm until the time of the service at 6 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Dolores name for the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, Make a Wish Foundation and the Alzheimer and Related Disorders Foundation.
