Dennis A. Clark, 67, of N1327 County Road CC, Cedar Grove, died at his home with his family at his side on Saturday morning, January 29, 2011 following a valiant struggle with cancer. Dennis was born on August 21, 1943, in West Bend, the son of the late Richard and Marie (Katzfey) Clark. He graduated from West Bend High School in 1961. He married Darlene Wallschlager on April 13, 1963, in Menomonee Falls. On September 22, 1973, he married Patrizia "Tricia" Zimmerman in Menomonee Falls. Dennis worked as a steel worker for A. O. Smith Automotive Corp. later known as Tower Automotive in Milwaukee for 36 years. He retired in 2000. Dennis was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. Dennis held a strong conviction of giving back to society and helping mankind through service. He was a Scout Master, Silver Beaver, and was a volunteer for the United Way, several food pantries, the Special Olympics, plus many other charities. He enjoyed beekeeping, gardening, and was an orchardist. He extended extra kindness to his wife, children and grandchildren. Dennis is survived by his wife, Tricia; four sons, Ken (Sherry) of Galveston, TX, Kevin (Maria) of Melbourne, FL, Mike of Cedar Grove, Mark (RaDonna) Clark of Manchester, CT, and an honorary son, Richard Rosio of Cascade; nine grandchildren, Sarah, Charity, Israel, Hannah, Samuel, Rebekah, Faith, and Halie Clark, and Alan Pinzon; one brother, James (Joyce) Clark of West Bend; four sisters, Nancy Gulden of FL, Diane (Ed) Gilson of Plymouth, Patricia Rosio of Cascade, and Billie Jo (Steve) Richter of Random Lake; his mother-in-law, Therese Zimmerman of Cedar Grove; one brother-in-law, Robert (Jeannette) Zimmerman of Savannah, GA; one sister-in-law, Susan (Ron) Bittner of Mukwonago. He is also survived by special uncles and aunts, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of dear friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, Bob Zimmerman; one brother, John Clark; a sister, Pandora Katzfey; a brother-in-law, Ronald Wachowiak; and two nephews, Randy and Scott Clark. A memorial service to celebrate Dennis's life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 3:30 pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg. Rev. Wayne DeVrou will officiate.
