Deloris Scheibl

Deloris ‘Dedee' Mae Scheibl, 86, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Sheboygan Senior Center, Hospice Care.  Dedee was born on May 4, 1931, second born daughter of the late Phillip & Myra Sundet. Her parents gave her the pet name ‘Little Stinker' which started her love and collection for skunks. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1949. She married Raymond Scheibl February 18, 1950. Raised five magnificent children and was a devoted Grandma to her 12 Grandchildren and a joyful doggie Momma. She worked part time as a school bus driver and then at Depke's shoe store up until she was 80 years old. Dedee was a lifelong congregant of local Catholic Churches, St. Mary, St. George and St. Rose, and was an active choir member from 1955 to 1999.  She was also an active committee member of her graduating class and a lifelong Fun Club member. She knitted numerous blankets for the local Hospitals and for friends and family. Dedee was an avid dog lover, had a passion towards all animals and nature. She was a true sports fan, from spectating grandkids games to her kids games & matches back when. She also enjoyed watching all WI College and WI professional sports. Dedee was a true stubborn Norwegian woman with a small build and very large heart!  A kind & spunky soul; that overall cherished her family & friends and she will be greatly missed.  Dedee leaves her loving memories with her adoring family; Eddie (Gay) Scheibl of New Mexico, Connie (Joseph) Crocifisso (grandkids Marlo & Jack) of Montana; Richard (Lois) Scheibl (grandkids, Scott, Jenny, Amy, Ann & Joseph) of Sheboygan WI; Robert (Angela) Scheibl (grandkids Sydney & Samuel) of Sheboygan Falls WI and John (Katie) Scheibl (grandkids Jenny, Josh & Malia) of Colorado and her sister Phyllis Gross of Sheboygan WI.  Dedee was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip & Myra Sundet; beloved husband of 50 years, Raymond Scheibl; infant daughter Mary; infant grandson Robbie; step-grandson Jim; brother-in-law, Hank Gross; dear friend, Carmen Danks; and her dog children, Gilligan, Lady  and Gracie.  Friends and relatives are invited for a time of visitation, held Friday August 4, 2017 from 4 - 7pm at the Wenig Funeral Home, 711 Broadway, Sheboygan Falls.
