Delores Gertrude Teunissen Delores G. Teunissen, 77, of 325 East Union Ave, Cedar Grove died unexpectedly at her residence and went home to her Lord on Friday, January 12, 2007. Delores was born on October 22, 1929, in the Town of Holland, the daughter of the late Henry and Gertrude (Prinsen) Teunissen. She graduated from Cedar Grove High School in 1947. Delores worked for the Kohler Company for over 28 years before her retirement in 1992. She was a lifelong member at the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove and the Kohler Quarter Century Club. Delores enjoyed sewing and quilting, ceramics, gardening, golfing, bowling, traveling, and card playing. She is survived by two brothers, Eugene Teunissen of Cedar Grove, and Earl Teunissen of Elkhart Lake; a sister-in-law, Mildred Schmidt of Arizona; seven nieces and fourteen nephews; many great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Bernice (Peter) Van Stelle; one brother, Anthony Teunissen; and two sisters-in-law, Virginia Teunissen and Dorothy Teunissen. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove with the Rev. Kent Vant Hull officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, January 15, 2007 from 4-8 pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg; and on Tuesday, at church from 10 am until the time of service.
