Delores M. Hoitink Delores M. Hoitink, 83, of 314 North Highland Ave, Apt 218, Plymouth died with her family at her side, and met her Lord and Savior on Monday evening, November 3, 2008 at Meadowview Manor where she had resided for the past two weeks. Delores was born on January 1, 1925 in the Town of Sheboygan Falls, the daughter of the late Peter and Jennie (Schaap) Veldman. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1943. On April 11, 1945 she married Lloyd Hoitink in the Town of Sheboygan Falls. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Holland for many years. Delores was a past member of the Hingham Reformed Church for many years and currently a member of First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls. Delores and her husband were Wycliffe Volunteers and a part of the Sowers Ministry. They attended the Senior Citizen groups in Plymouth and Adell. She enjoyed embroidery, quilting, gardening, card playing, and playing her harmonica. Delores is survived by her husband, Lloyd; two daughters, Joyce (Allen) Kuhlow of Hingham, Luann (Glenn) Harmelink of Marshalltown, Iowa; two sons, Paul (Sylvia) Hoitink of Plymouth, and Perry (Cindy) Hoitink of Oostburg; eight grandchildren, Jon (Fehmida) Kuhlow, Terrill Harmelink, Chad (Kristin) Hoitink, Paula (Louis) Gentine, Sara Hoitink, Jessica (Jay) Hoskins, Jennifer Hoitink and Jarred Hoitink; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Gertrude Graaskamp of Cedar Grove, and Sharon (Ronnie) Petrauski of Sheboygan; one brother, Willard (LaVerne) Veldman of Sheboygan Falls; and one brother-in-law, Howard Bimmel of Sheboygan Falls. Delores was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Heidi Harmelink and Stephanie Kuhlow; her parents, step mother, Velma (Heidemann) Hoftiezer Veldman; a sister, Helen Bimmel; four brothers-in-law, LaMont Huenink, Winifred Graaskamp, Reuben Hoitink and Harry (Mildred) Hoitink. Funeral services will be held at the First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls at 1:30 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2008, with the Rev. Brad Veenendaal officiating. Burial will take place at Hingham Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls (TODAY) Wednesday from 4-8 pm, and on church on Thursday from 12:30 until the time of the service at 1:30 pm.
