Debra Lenz

Debra Marie Lenz, 59, of Cedar Grove died on Monday morning, June 15, 2015 at her home. Debbie was born on October 24, 1955 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Gilbert and Theresa (Nadolny) Wolff. Debbie graduated from Custer High School in 1973. She furthered her education at Milwaukee Area Technical College where she received her Associates Degree. On May 16, 1981 she married Larry Lenz in Cedar Grove. Debbie and her husband were proud co-owners of DeZwaan Restaurant for 17 years. She most recently worked as a produce clerk for Roundy's Food. Debbie was a faithful member of First Reformed Church of Cedar Grove. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with family, and relaxing on the deck. Debbie's passion and love for people and her work were evident to all who knew her. Debbie is survived by her husband of 34 years, Larry; one daughter, Sarah Lenz of Kaukauna; her mother, Theresa Wolff of Eagle River; two sisters, Cynthia Nelson, Marie (Steve) Bruskiewicz; one brother, David (Michelle) Wolff; one sister-in-law, Shirley (Frank) Maringer; one brother-in-law, Ron (Joan) Lenz; and further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Wolff, brother, Robert Wolff, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mildred and Alvin Lenz. A funeral to celebrate Debbie's life will take place at the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11 am with the Rev. Kent Vant Hul officiating. Burial will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held at the Wenig Funeral Homes in Oostburg on Friday, June 19th from 4pm to 7pm and again on Saturday at Church from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am.
