David Wallner

David J. Wallner, 69, of W2855 County Road V, Sheboygan Falls died on Saturday morning, August 20, 2011 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice following a lengthy illness. David was born on July 20, 1942 in the Sheboygan, son of the late Joseph and Adeline (Lorenz) Wallner. He attended Sheboygan Falls High School. David married the late Judith A. Simmelink in the Town of Wilson on December 7, 1963. She preceded him in death on April 21, 2002. David was a repairman at Tecumseh in Sheboygan Falls for over 35 years before his retirement in 2000. David was a member of the Five Corners Snowmobile Club and was active in the 4-H Horse Project. He enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, 4-Wheeling, traveling and cash cropping, He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and with family at the family cabin in Tomahawk. David is survived by two daughters, Tracy (Jeff) Radtke of Gibbsville, Amy (Todd) King of Sheboygan Falls; one son, Eric (Mary) Wallner of Sheboygan Falls; five grandchildren, Ryan and Allyson Lastusky, Emily King, Alexandra and Jacob Wallner; his father-in-law, Willis Veldboom of Oostburg; two sisters, Veronica Freidl of Madison, and Bernadette (Ronald) Enneper of Osseo; two brothers, Joe (Mary) Wallner of Sheboygan Falls and Peter (Sandy) Wallner of Glenbeulah; and one brother-in-law, Bill Hahn of Sheboygan Falls. David was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; parents; and one sister, Adele Hahn. A funeral service to celebrate David's life will be held at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls at 10 am on Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may greet the family at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Monday from 4-7 pm, and on Tuesday, from 9am until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established in his name.
