David LeRoy

David Lee LeRoy, 83, of 1163 Fond Du Lac Ave. Sheboygan Falls died Sunday, December 22, 2013 at his home. He was born May 21, 1930 to the late John and Evelyn (Thiermann) Le Roy at their home in Sheboygan Falls. A lifelong resident of Sheboygan Falls, David graduated from Falls High School in the class of 1948. On October 23, 1954 he married Edythe Preder at her parent's home. David served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957 and was stationed in Korea. After being discharged, David was employed at Richardson Furniture Co and then at Kohler Co., until his retirement in May of 1992. He was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club. After his retirement, David enjoyed listening to his extensive jazz record collection. He also enjoyed riding his bicycle, doing yard work, reading and puttering around in his workshop. David is survived by his wife, Edythe; his son Kevin LeRoy of Sheboygan Falls and his niece, Karen (Daniel) Newcomer of Brodhead, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his older sister, Gloria. A memorial service to celebrate David's life will be Friday, December 27, 2013 at 7pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. David Van Dixhorn officiating. Visitation will be held at the Wenig Funeral Home Friday December 27, 2013 from 5pm until the time of service at 7pm.
