Dale Winkler

Dale R. Winkler, 80 of Random Lake died on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Aurora Grafton Medical Center. Dale was born on July 31, 1935 in Milwaukee, the son of the late George and Nora (Wunrow) Winkler. He graduated from Rufus King High School in 1953 and attended UWM for one year. Dale served his country in the US Army National Guard. On May 25, 1957 he married Barbara M. Bauman in Milwaukee. Dale was traffic and warehouse manager for Taylor Electric in Mequon for over 20 years before his retirement in 1992. Dale was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Random Lake and the Sheboygan Society of Railroad Engineers. He enjoyed trains, travel, stained glass, ceramics and spending time at the family cottage near Neillsville. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Susan (Bill) Mosuch of Augusta, GA and Sandra (Dale) Wulff of Adell; two sons, Michael Winkler of Kingston and David (Kim) Winkler of Elk Grove Village, IL; eight grandchildren, William (Jill) Mosuch, Allysa (David) Makler, Ashley (Ryan) Perez, Aaron (Jessica) Wulff, Elizabeth (friend Ben) Wulff, Danielle Haworth, Brendan and Kaylee Winkler; four great grandchildren, Aria, Kaleb, Liam and Maxton; one brother, Edward (Renee) Winkler of Alamo, CA; one brother-in-law, Wayne Turkiewicz of Stevens Point; one sister-in-law, Karen Darwin Robert of Kerrville, TX. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Luann Turkiewicz; and his father and mother-in-law, Arthur and Lucy Brauman. A Funeral service to celebrate Dale's life will be on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 2pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 705 Grand Ave in Random Lake with Rev. Joy Mortenson-Wiebe officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may gather on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 705 Grand Ave in Random Lake from noon until the time of service at 2pm. A memorial fund to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dale's name is being established.
