Dale Lammers

Dale Lammers, 87, of Lake Ozark, MO, and formerly of Oostburg, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 13, 2011. Dale was born on January 19, 1924 in Sheboygan, son of Elizabeth and Matthew Lammers. He graduated from Oostburg High School. On November 30, 1944 he married Elenore Huibregtse. Dale was employed at the Wisconsin Electric Power Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After retirement he lived in Florida, Texas and Illinois and now resided in Missouri. He was a member of the Worship Place in Georgetown, Texas. Dale is survived by one daughter, Judith (Bob) Anderson of Lake Ozark, MO; one son, Mark (Linda) Lammers of Flower Mound, TX; five grandchildren, Jason Lammers of Plymouth, WI, Angie (Sean) Axtell of Overland Park, KS, Joanna (Nick) West of Baltimore, MD, Kari (Blaine) Sutton of Paradise, TX, Andrew Bronson of Eldon, MO; ten great-grandchildren, Chloe Ross, Alexis Condy, Gracie, Cole and Carson Ross, Liam Axtell, Hunter and Phishyre Sutton, Kirsten Bronson and Sophia West; and one brother-in-law, Carl (Phyllis) Huibregtse of Cedar Grove. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, wife Elenore, two sisters Ethel Harmelink and Lavina Eernisse, one brother Earl Lammers, two brothers-in-law Gordon and Norbert Huibregtse and two sisters-in-law Wilma DeMaster and Muriel Meeusen. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Union Cemetery in the Town of Holland with Rev. Wayne Tripp officiating. A memorial fund has been established in Dale's name.
