Cornelia Pas

Cornelia "Kay" Ten Pas, 91, of Sheboygan Falls, went home to her Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2011 with her family by her side. Kay was born November 24, 1919 in Wood County to Jacob and Sarah (Van Der Gouwe) Van De Wege. On August 9, 1940 she married Lloyd Ten Pas in Cedar Grove. Lloyd passed away June 10, 1996. Together, Kay and Lloyd were lifetime dairy farmers in the Town of Lima. Kay was a member of First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and playing scrabble. She also had a love for pets. Kay is survived by her: two daughters, Eileen Ten Pas of West Bend and Carol (Floyd) Born of Sheboygan Falls; two sons, Robert (Lorraine) Ten Pas of Sheboygan Falls and James Ten Pas of Sheboygan Falls; nine grandchildren, Leigh (fiancée Amy) Ten Pas, Mark (Sonia) Ten Pas, Daniel (Sara) Ten Pas, Christine (fiancé Gig) Ten Pas, Paul (special friend Judy), Troy (Teresa) Graven, Corey (Tammy) Graven, Patrick Graven, Michael (Barb) Born; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Marian Tenpas of Rockford, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Kay was preceded in death by her: parents; husband Lloyd; infant daughter; seven sisters; two brothers. Funeral services to celebrate Kay's life will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg with Rev. Brad Veenendaal officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Sheboygan. Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the Wenig Funeral Home.
