Clyde Bawden

Clyde H. Bawden, 87, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on February 1, 2018 at Pine Haven Christian Communities- Prairie Crossing. Clyde was born on August 4, 1930, in Sheboygan, son of Nicholas and Emma (Yurk) Bawden. He was a 1949 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. Clyde served in the US Army National Guard from 1949-1953. On October 18, 1958, he married Betty Drexler in Kohler. Clyde was employed as a printer with Kohler Company for 36 years until his retirement in 1990.Clyde was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler where he was active in the Bethany Male Chorus. He was also a member of the Kohler Company Quarter Century Club.Clyde is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty; and three brothers, Jerome (Joyce) Bawden of Sheboygan, Arthur Bawden of Minocqua, and George Bawden of Brookfield.Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, June (Raymond) Knight, and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Bawden.Funeral services to celebrate Clyde's life will be held at 11am on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler with Rev. Robert Steele officiating. A burial will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Kohler.Relatives and friends may call at the church from 10 am until the time of the service at 11am. A memorial fund has been established in Clyde's name for Bethany Lutheran Church, Sheboygan Lutheran High School, and Sharon S.
